Four former NFL players are suing the league, claiming a cover-up in connection with NFL brain injuries. The four ex-NFL players — Jamal Lewis, Dorsey Levens, Fulton Kuykendall, and Ryan Stewart — say they suffered concussions while playing for the NFL, the Associated Press reports

Study Links Soccer ‘Heading’ to Brain Damage

A recent soccer study has found that “heading” a ball may cause brain damage to some players, reports CBS News. Researchers found that players who frequently headed balls - more than 1,000 or 1,500 times a year - displayed some abnormalities in MRI scans that appeared similar to brain damage……

Birth Brain Damage Suit: Govt. to Pay $11M

A birth brain damage suit against the government has been settled for $11 million. The injury, which occurred on Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, left now 4 year-old Kayla Mae McCraw with permanent brain damage.
