Former Toyota Lawyer Awaits Key Ruling

Former Toyota in-house lawyer Dimitrios Biller is expecting a ruling on claims against his former employer that is likely to have broad implications for possibly scores of plaintiffs who have sued Toyota. If the judge rules in Biller’s favor, he may become an important witness in the many lawsuits the company faces. The ruling would also presumably mean that the judge agrees that the confidential documents Biller kept when he left Toyota prove that the company withheld information it was obliged to produce during litigation.
